The Jira integration can’t be connected yet. On Settings > Integrations > Jira, Beebole shows a coming-soon message instead of the Connect to Jira button. To share your requirements, contact support@beebole.com and Beebole lets you know as soon as the integration is ready. Accounts already connected to Jira keep working as described on this page.
Beebole’s Jira integration imports your Jira Cloud projects and issues into Beebole so your team can track time against their Jira work. For accounts already connected, new issues created in Jira and issues renamed in Jira are reflected in Beebole automatically, and a manual sync brings in the rest of the structure. The integration imports your Jira structure into Beebole’s Projects and activities, for time tracking with costs, billing, and expenses, or into Planning and tasks, for resource assignment.

What’s included

Active projects and issues at the time the integration was enabled are created in Beebole, in a category named Jira. While the integration is enabled, an issue created in Jira is added to Beebole automatically, and an issue renamed in Jira is renamed in Beebole. New Jira projects, renamed projects, and projects archived or restored in Jira are brought in line when you click Manual sync.
All active users in your Jira site are created as people in Beebole when the integration is first enabled. They receive the role chosen in Default role for imported employees.
Timesheet entries, approval workflows, billing rates, budgets, and expenses remain in Beebole and are not affected by the integration.

Managing an existing connection

If your Beebole account is already connected to Jira, go to Settings > Integrations > Jira. Your connection appears under the coming-soon message, with these settings: Default role for imported employees, Where to import your tasks, and Reset connection can only be changed while the integration is turned off. To track time on the imported items, the Jira category must be part of the timesheet. Go to Settings > Account Settings, open Timesheet and Planning Settings, and on the Categories tab add the Jira category under Record time on these project categories (or Record time on these plannings if you import into Planning and tasks). Privacy: people removed in Jira

Beebole periodically checks the Jira accounts it imported. When a person’s Jira account is closed, Beebole anonymizes the matching imported person automatically — their name and email are scrubbed — while their time records stay intact for reporting. This keeps the account aligned with Atlassian’s privacy requirements without any manual cleanup.

Disabling the integration

If you disable the integration, changes made in Jira no longer sync to Beebole. Previously imported data remains in Beebole as local records. If you click Reset connection, you can’t connect again until the integration becomes available, since the Connect to Jira button is not shown for now.
To disable the integration, go to Settings > Integrations > Jira and turn Enable integration off. You can turn it back on at any time to resume syncing. To disconnect your Jira account entirely, turn the integration off, then click Reset connection.

All previously imported projects, issues, and people remain in Beebole as local records. They are not deleted. Only future changes from Jira stop syncing until you turn the integration back on.
