### Close the gap between time tracking and accounting

QuickBooks Online is where your invoicing and payroll happen. This integration connects it with Beebole's powerful project time tracking and planning - without any manual transfer in between.

When you enable the integration, Beebole imports your QuickBooks customers, items, and people, so your team tracks time against the right activities from day one. When a period is approved and the hours are final, export everything to QuickBooks as time activities. Only errors surface on screen, for a clean export that needs no confirmation.

Connect your QuickBooks Online account from Beebole's integration settings. Beebole imports your customers and items as projects and your employees as people, then waits until you're ready to export. Select a period, trigger the export, and Beebole creates the corresponding time activities in QuickBooks.

The export is intentionally manual. You trigger it once approval is done and hours are locked. That's what lands in QuickBooks for invoicing and payroll. Because Beebole and QuickBooks share the same customers, items, and employees from the start, every time activity that arrives in QuickBooks is already linked to the right entity with no extra mapping required.

The integration handles time entries only; expenses stay in Beebole. Because you control exactly when data crosses over, you're never pushing provisional or unapproved hours into accounting by accident. Failed entries are listed individually so you can correct and re-export without touching the rest of the batch.

- Does this integration work with QuickBooks Desktop?

This integration is with QuickBooks Online only. QuickBooks Desktop is not currently supported.

- What if I need to export the same period twice?

You can, but it risks creating duplicate time activities in QuickBooks. Beebole warns you if you attempt to export a date range that's already been sent, so you can decide whether to proceed.

- Are expenses exported to QuickBooks as well?

No. Only time entries are exported, as time activities. Expenses are managed in Beebole and are not sent to QuickBooks in either direction.
